How to correctly eliminate Rapid antigen tests?
Rapid antigen tests are not intended for recycling. They should be disposed of in the same garbage can as the usual household waste (grey garbage can). However, in case of a positive test result,
- the tests are to be put back in their original packaging (or in a special bag that may have been supplied with the test)
- then in a separate bag that is to be closed again immediately afterwards
- the bag and its contents are then disposed of in the normal household waste garbage can
